Bigby’s Cafe & Restaurant: The Belly Buster Platter, Voucher And Its Ambience

I felt so delighted for having this kind of dining experience that is so delectable and satisfying. And it feels good even more to avail a Belly Buster platter for free because I got a voucher during the Bigby’s give-away contest in promotion for their upcoming opening in IT Park Lahug. I am grateful for this since I’m on “tingbits” and I cannot afford to opt for fine dining or some kind of sumptuous eats at these times of financial crisis!

How did I get a voucher? There was a contest that promotes Facebook like and share of their page and fortunately I was one of the 10 lucky winners who’ve won a Belly Buster platter through a random picker. Glad that a friend of mine Kris Mae was also on the list of winners. So we both excited then for the day to come for our great dining experience!

our mandatory pose with our voucher on hand

The 10 lucky winners were announced on Facebook before the official opening on March 16, 2018, located in Cebu IT Park. Though we had the voucher ready to be dined in time of the opening but it wasn’t timely for me since it was a regular work day and I felt tired to go out since I am working on a night shift that period. Considering my home is situated far.

And since it was also a Friday, I did not allow nor prohibit myself to eat meat during Fridays in lieu for the Holy week season. So I intent to claim the prize after Holy Week period and so does my friend.

Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant in Central Bloc, Cebu IT Park grand opening was held last March 16, 2018. This is the newest addition to the popular restaurant chain originated in Mindanao. It seems their travel-inspired ambience have greatly impacted food enthusiasts to go back and dine.

And what is tempting about to try, for me coz’ I doubted because of its big servings. Well, it has also caught my attention while I was getting curious about the platter set. And it paved the way! Cebuano diners will surely be starving now!

On the other hand, did you know that this is the third Bigby’s branch in Cebu? Along with its locations in Ayala Center Cebu, the pioneering outlet and at SM City Cebu. Hope I can also check these branches mention soon.

In the year 2000, Bigby’s Café was first introduced in Cebu at Ayala Center Cebu and it became a big hit among the Cebuano market. By then, diners warmed up to their concept, following more visits and extraordinary feeling.

The restaurant location is just close to nearby resto like Banapple and 10 Dove Street Confectionery or 10 D.C. and their sister company Boy Zugba Restaurant. By the way, I am sharing herewith our photo (above) with my colleagues/best buddies Kris Mae and Joy while we were getting closer at the restaurant.

What is also brilliant to check in this restaurant is the warm greetings and well-accommodating staffs. That’s where I am looking at a fancy restaurant that staffs won’t judge to their diners, the looks and appearance. But here, you will be treated good so far. Happy eating!

Aside from having a fine dining, not just your stomach can be contained but you will get astonished of its decorations. It’s like you unleash your childhood fantasy when getting inside.

It is quiet amazing that restaurateurs have come up with concepts that make Bigby’s ambience more exciting and “Instagram-worthy” for diners due to its hanging decorations inspired by their travels around the world.

Anyhow, I’ve been using a mobile phone Samsung A5 to take a snap for this entire dining experience. I was actually enjoying taking pictures of the premise. Although I only posted few pictures, the highlighted ones, coz’ I fear you might not want it nor could intimidate your findings. Hehe!

Get inspired with their different photographs of satisfied diners.

The smile of a satisfied diner though craving to dine-in again!
