Budong Malunggay Pandesal: Tasty and Delectable

The PANDESAL is considered the most well-known or common Filipino bread. Truly undisputed. It is a bread roll made of flour, yeast, eggs, sugar, and salt. Best to serve during breakfast — we usually pair it with our favorite cup of coffee or milk and in sometimes during merienda or snacktime. Pandesal bread can also be paired to: cheese, ham & bacon spread, chocolate spread, pandesal with mayo or with egg… and, whatever your preference may be.

Meanwhile, there is a distinct taste of MALUNGGAY PANDESAL a healthy and delicious bread just like the ordinary pandesal but with a twist  mix of grind malunggay (horse raddish). With the delectable taste which you can notice it people queuing at the shop/stall at any hour. It is served hot fresh from the oven and packed with eco friendly brown paper bag.

BUDONG MALUNGGAY PANDESALBudong Malunggay Pandesal has been operating since 2012. I was wondering at first how do it taste like a malunggay? Well, I’ve got no hesitation since then because I’d also love to eat veggies especially malunggay. I love the taste of this bread actually, where my husband and I get used sometime to drop at the stall and it cost us Php 2.00 each. It’s just affordable.

Here’s few of my photos of Budong Malunggay Pandesal branch – located across Canduman, Mandaue City. Beside M Lhuillier Pawnshop under Skywalk bridge.
